Hi, I'm Kailey!

I discovered my passion for strength training and nutrition nearly five years ago as a full-time student, searching for solace from the stress and routine of college life. Most of my young life, I had my dance shoes to thank for that – the escape, the rush, the liberation – I lived for it. After hanging up my dance shoes, I had an itch to pursue something else – something more. In that time, my mind began to drift, and with it my mood. I was restless, lethargic, and unhappy.

I lacked clear direction and knowledge, submerging myself in a life of endless cardio machines and unhealthy habits. I quickly became a slave to cardio workouts and highly restrictive diets. Of course, initially it all seemed great – I lost some body fat, but my metabolism was a mess and let’s not even mention my non-existent energy levels. Terrified to gain anything back, I was caught in a vicious cycle of endless cardio and low carb diets. I knew it wasn’t sustainable and I was determined to educate myself. There had to be a way to live a fit, happy, and healthy lifestyle.

I was patient through the process, I trusted it. Baby steps – I would remind myself. During this time, I repaired not only my metabolism and physical strength, but also my mental health and self-confidence. I introduced strength training, incorporated new workouts into my daily exercise regimen, and found my place in the gym – it became the solace I had been searching for. I loved it, I loved the process, and I loved the relationships I made through it all even more.

The process was rough, but nothing great comes easy, and nothing easy can ever equate to greatness. My unique journey provided me the knowledge to truly understand how to happily and sustainably reach any physique goal. For this reason, it’s my hope to motivate and inspire others to see the best version of themselves at every stage, and to guide them with the knowledge I didn’t have, and the mentor I didn’t know I needed.
